SCIENICS is a business workflow consulting entity incorporating a variety of software tools, structured to meet requirements of diverse customers. In today’s demanding career environment, we often aren’t aware of simple tools to help us address team communications.
Education is the first step to understanding what collaboration tools are required to begin and subsequently complete a project. As humans, many of us realize (or sense) that there should be simpler and quicker methods to document our tasks, yet sometimes we just don’t know how to start. So we pledge to help design an achievable plan, integrated with simple tools to get moving in the direction of your project maintenance.
SCIENICS has professional web sites for people to begin to learn about workflow. We’ll even create an electronic record (for for purposes of review and motivation) for those that would like to do so. These records will remain private and will adhere to HIPPA and other privacy mandated regulations. We can teach you the basics of task management, and present it to you in a graphical fashion.
Today, we live in a fast paced, information rich society, but sometimes we just don’t know how to distill useful information from the vast amount of material presented to us. Our parent company, NorthLAN Solutions, Inc. (NSI) has been an IT Service Provider and Integrator for over 12 years, serving enterprise sized corporations as well as small businesses. Many of the solutions for companies that we have engaged in, gravitated to the Bio-Med-Tech environments. We believe that since we understand many facets of computer technology, we have decided to incorporate modified technology with software.
At SCIENICS, we pledge the following:
1) To begin with simple solutions. Simple plans are easier to design, implement, and follow through to completion. Simple designs promote memory retention which makes training new people a lot less difficult. Simple things get used more often and are stress tested more frequently. When users are comfortable with a base configuration, more features can be added as muscle memory grows.
2)To make every attempt to create our training materials, our web site content and our correspondence with you in such a way so as to be free of as much technical jargon as possible. Of course, there are times when medical terms are required. In those cases, we’ll supply definitions and examples to assist with understanding the material.
3) Practice what we preach. We wish to provide some proven products for home use to our customers. We would be very uncomfortable selling a packaged solution that we never had a chance to explore in a real world setting. We admit, these can be time consuming and expensive events, but we believe that it is worth the effort as it prepares our people to think in terms of what the products can and cannot do.
4) We don’t believe in high pressure sales tactics. No spam. Please see our Privacy Notice. We believe that our services are worthwhile and our rates are within industry norms. As a result, we are selective when choosing our partners. There are many entities that promote their own concept of low cost, boxed widgets to serve as little more than band-aids. We believe that there are many problems associated with short-term, quick fixes that undermine overall health and quality, misrepresenting the word ‘value’.
